LPCI Celebrates Nine Decades of Panther Pride!

In 2026, LPCI celebrates its 90th Anniversary.  The Alumni Association and school are coordinating jointly a one-day event inviting everyone connected with the Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute - alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and the broader LP community - to come out to reconnect, remember, and rejoice.  We hope you're able to join in the fun and commemorate nine decades of good old Gold & Blue days.

This one-day event is sure to rekindle those strong and true memories as we revisit each of the past nine decades, take time to reconnect, and celebrate the elements that continue to make Lawrence Park special.

 

Attendees will hear from honoured guests and featured speakers acknowledging the impact Lawrence Park has had on the lives of its students, the community, and beyond, for the past 90 years.  The school will welcome one and all to enjoy a day of celebration and commemoration.  From our growing archive and memorability collection, to exciting musical and artistic performances, a new recognition wall highlighting our renown history of academic excellence and athletic achievement, informative school walking tours, a relaxing Panther Cafe, and nine dedicated classrooms, one for each decade celebrating and reflecting on LP culture, camaraderie, and spirit over the years,

​​Just announced! 

To honour this special milestone and secure the future for our students, the 90th Anniversary Committee and Alumni Association are going after extra credits by actively raising $25,000 to establish a permanent endowment fund for the LPCI Alumni Award launched in 2023. This fund, inspired by the mission of the Alumni Association, will ensure that graduating students who embody the LPCI spirit are recognized for generations to come.  More details to come on this fund and how to contribute.
